A Trend Hunter at heart, Jeremy Gutsche is a relentlessly creative individual fueled by innovation and curiosity. An early adopter, Jeremy launched his first online publications in 1995. Today, he publishes a dozen online magazines, travels the globe and is the Director of Upmarket, Capital One Canada's largest acquisition business.

In his speaking engagements, Jeremy speaks about how to methodically approach innovation to generate ideas, stimulate creativity and ultimately unlock cool. With a background in management consulting and web 2.0, Jeremy brings a rare perspective on how to unlock innovation within a business context. He is frequently sought after by television programs, newspapers and radio shows for his opinions on the next big thing.

At Capital One, Jeremy leads the company's innovation imperative. His team studies how to methodically approach customer focused innovation. His development of an innovation pipeline has led his team to launch several market leading products and expand into new channels which have tripled monthly bookings.

Prior to Trend Hunter and Capital one, Jeremy spent the majority of his career as a Management Consultant at the Monitor Group. There, he advised top-level strategy to Fortune 50 clients and government clients with a focus on scenario planning, creative innovation and the assessment of new ventures.

Jeremy holds an MBA from Queen's University and graduated as a Chancellor Scholar with a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a lifelong student of marketing, psychology and strategy. Most recently, he studied Customer Focused Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and d.School. He loves to teach and enjoys leading workshops in: competitive strategy, innovation and quantitative analysis.
